Privacy and sample handling

Assistant app

The CursiveLines app in ChatGPT and Claude receives what your assistant sends with a request: a letter, an alphabet and style, practice or sheet text of up to 500 characters, a name for a signature, a lesson or gallery search, and options such as paper size. It does not accept images. These inputs are used to build the answer and are not kept: there is no account, profile or saved search history. Your assistant provider handles the conversation under its own privacy policy.

Links from the app

Opening a link from the app to this site is counted. The count keeps which app link was opened, the destination page, the time, a coarse country code and whether the visitor looks like a bot. It keeps no IP address, cookies, name or practice text. A link can carry the text you chose to the page or PDF that uses it, such as a practice sheet; the count keeps only the page.

Images submitted for analysis

An uploaded or drawn image is sent for the requested handwriting or signature analysis. It is processed for that task without being added to the public autograph collection or used to train a model. The analysis service does not save uploaded image files.

Samples saved in your browser

The analyzers can keep up to eight recent samples for handwriting and eight for signatures in this browser, together with their names, settings and results. The saved-sample list shows samples updated within the last 30 days. Older image records are removed when a sample is next saved.

Use a sample’s delete control to remove it. “Clear sample” removes the active sample for that analyzer. Clearing this site’s browser data removes its saved images and results from that browser. Your saved samples do not form a public gallery.

Connection information

Serving a page or processing an image involves ordinary connection information such as an IP address and browser headers. Request logs contain the requested address and response status, without the submitted image body. Uploaded filenames label samples in your browser.

Fonts and public specimens

Fonts are delivered by Google Fonts, which receives the connection information needed to supply them. Public signature images are supplied with the site; their captions link to source and license information.

Cookies and analytics

This version has no account or advertising cookies and includes no visitor analytics service; the only counts are the anonymous app link counts described above. Browser storage is used for the saved-sample features described above.
