Capital C

  1. Make the small starting turn at the upper-right of the capital band.
  2. Swing left and down around the broad open bowl.
  3. Finish on the lower-right side of the bowl, leaving its opening clear.

Small c

  1. Start near the upper-right edge of the body band.
  2. Downcurve left around the open bowl to the baseline.
  3. Finish at the lower-right edge, keeping the opening clear.

Practice C, c and joined words

Start with ca and ce. In ch and ck, carry c’s low exit up into the tall letter, then write clear, space and check with every opening visible.
