How to write D and d
Capital D
- Start near cap height and curve down the left side into a small baseline loop.
- Continue around the broad right bowl and back up to the top.
- Make the upper loop and finish to the right; lift before the next letter.
Small d
- Downcurve left around the body oval and close it at the midline.
- Rise along the slant to the top line, then retrace down to the baseline.
- Finish with the small rightward baseline turn.
