How to write P and p
Capital P
- Start at the midline, sweep up to cap height and slant down to the baseline.
- Retrace the slant to the upper part of the letter.
- Round the upper bowl and finish near the middle of the stem; lift before the next letter.
Small p
- Begin at the midline and slant down below the baseline.
- Retrace up the stem and round the body-height bowl.
- Close the bowl near the baseline and finish its short rightward return.
